Dirtyblinds.com and the business opportunities we offer are all about choices. Dirtyblinds.com has been cleaning blinds, repairing blinds, and installing blinds since 1987. We have offered our three (3) day hands-on training classes since 1992. As the blind cleaning industry grew, we expanded our ultrasonic blind cleaning training to include blind repairs, blind installation, marketing, and how to build a user-friendly safe workshop. In 2010, dirtyblinds.com built the first and only on-LINE Training website which covers all these courses. All this training offered by Dirtyblinds.com is, and always will be FREE to all our clients.
Our Company was founded by Marc Miller (president) in 1987 as a blind installation and window washing company. After years of installing blinds and washing windows, customers continued to ask, “Do you know anyone who cleans blinds?” So, in 1991 this prompted us to investigate offering a blind cleaning service as an addition to our existing window washing and blind installation business. After investigating the industry and what the manufactures offered at the time, we came to the conclusion that they were very good at selling their blind cleaning equipment, but terrible on the training side of things. Since we already had four(4) years of experience in installing and repairing blinds, we purchased a blind cleaner and decided to teach ourselves. Over the next three(3) months and through trial and error, we developed the most comprehensive three (3) day hands-on training program in the industry. Our training includes blind cleaning, blind repairs, how to build a user-friendly safe workshop, and of course marketing. Over time, while training clients that have purchased blind cleaning machines from these manufacturers, their clients started asking us “why aren’t you guys making blind cleaning machines because you know more than the people we bought our machines from?” Since we have an engineer on staff we decided to build the first and still the only blind cleaner without all the bells and whistles they were selling to everyone.
In 1992, our next goal was to build the first-ever mobile blind cleaning truck. However, before we could invest in this project we had to figure out how to dry fabric blinds on-site. It took a while but Marc(the owner) has always been known in the industry as the “MacGyver” of the blind cleaning industry. Well, he figured it out! After six (6) months of design and developing practical equipment to make going mobile professionally feasible, the first mobile truck was built. Only to realize that over several years of use trucks were never as practical as trailers. (for many reasons). Because of these many reasons we decided to build user-friendly trailers. Our trailers are completely self-contained and turn-key. They have air for the summer, heat for the winter, freshwater supply, and many many more options.
In the year 2010 Dirtyblinds.com designed the industry’s Only Digital Quality On-Line Training Program. Now in 2020, there is a company realizing the importance of this type of training and are attempting to imitate what we have been doing since 2010. Our company did not wait until something like COVID-19 arrived to realize the importance of this type of training and support for our clients. Dirtyblinds.com will ALWAYS work to stay ahead of the competition, so you as our client will always have the best training, support, and information in your hands.
Next, in 2019 Dirtyblinds.com secured the domain name BlindCleaners.com. Although this purchase was expensive, we realized the value to the blind cleaning industry. Our thought was to help institutionalize the blind cleaning industry not just sell blind cleaners. No more searching all over the internet to find a blind cleaner or a place to get your blinds repaired or installed. All of these services are now available in one location on BlindCleaners.com. Many years ago we also purchased the domain names BlindRepairs.com and BlindInstallers.com to now go along with BlindCleaners.com.
